Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation Deadlines and Deductions
Refunds are calculated based on the date your written cancellation request is received:

2. Transfers and Name Changes
Registration is non-transferable except with prior written approval of the TAMILCON 2026 Organising Committee. Where approved, name substitutions must be completed before 30 September 2026 and may be subject to administrative charges.
3. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 15–30 business days of approval, to the original payment method, after deduction of applicable administrative, banking, gateway, or statutory charges. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to cbetamilcon2026@gmail.com with your registration ID and payment proof.
4. Category Eligibility
Registration category (TNOA/Local Society Member, Non-Member, Postgraduate) is verified by the Organising Committee based on the proof submitted at registration. If a submitted registration’s eligibility cannot be verified and no alternative eligible category applies, the difference in fee is either adjusted to the correct category or refunded, at the Committee’s discretion.
5. Event Postponement, Cancellation and Force Majeure
In the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control — including government restrictions, public health advisories, natural disaster, civil disturbance, or venue disruption — the Organising Committee may reschedule, modify, or cancel sessions. If the Conference itself is postponed, registrations are automatically carried over to the rescheduled date; if cancelled outright, registration fees are refunded in full, less any payment gateway charges actually incurred. Our liability is limited to the registration fee actually received.
